Meeting Business
Melissa showed data for another lake on a similar survey as the Cedar Lake survey done in November and December. She is working on the results and will share them as part of the annual meeting to the public. She also gave an outline of the possible presentation she would give at the Annual meeting
Mary Neuman is the WSB consultant that is in charge of Cedar Lake and the carp control. She suggested a population study in the fall of 2025. That would give an idea of what the population is, post Koi Herpes Virus outbreak and the carp death. She will be getting back to us on the cost of the survey.
Since Melissa is working with us on the 10 year plan, it was suggested that we also have WSB contribute to that overall plan an how we should control that carp along with the invasive plant and water management
Larry did a presentation on the harvester options and high level costs. Further investigation will be done and possible tours of local lakes that are using the device. He also found out that local commercial fishman that has the contract for Area 20, which includes Cedar Lake.
Discussed cost of chemical cost for the full late treatment
